Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with finding products or answering inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Keep the sales floor and checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or cashier roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
