Responsibilities
- Greet & Assist: Welcome customers warmly and provide assistance with finding products and answering inquiries.
- Point of Sale (POS): Efficiently operate the POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash registers, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and balance drawers at the end of shifts.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and concerns professionally to ensure high satisfaction rates.
- Store Maintenance: Assist in keeping the sales floor organized, shelves stocked, and the store environment clean.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light merchandise (up to 25 lbs).
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
