Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer transactions including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Manage the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and troubleshoot basic errors.
- Handle cash drawers with 100% accuracy and balance daily deposits.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Bag merchandise and assist with carry-out when necessary.
- Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and security.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with high precision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is required.
