Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with strict attention to accuracy and security.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain inventory levels and store appearance.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and follow standard operating procedures.
- Reliable transportation is a plus.
