Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Point of Sale Operations: Accurately operate the POS system, process various payment methods (cash, credit, debit), and handle returns and exchanges efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe sales floor environment.
- Transaction Accuracy: Perform cash handling duties with strict attention to detail to ensure all transactions are balanced at the end of the shift.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
