Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using state-of-the-art point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries and checkout procedures.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining strict accountability and balancing daily drawers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including scanning items and restocking shelves as needed.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Upsell products and promote current sales promotions to increase average transaction value.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in retail or cashier positions is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Reliable access to transportation and a valid driver's license.
