Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict adherence to cash handling policies.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe sales floor environment.
- Bag groceries or assist with loading customer vehicles when applicable.
- Stock shelves and assist with inventory organization as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation is required.
