Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and maintain accurate cash drawers at the end of every shift.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies with patience and knowledge.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
- Assist in inventory management and restock merchandise as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, professional attitude.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
