Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensure all sales are rung up correctly and handle cash, credit, and digital payments with 100% accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area at all times.
- Assist with inventory stocking and merchandise presentation as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or security concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail/hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
