Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict adherence to company cash handling policies.
- Provide friendly, professional, and accurate customer service at the register and on the sales floor.
- Assist customers with selecting the right equipment and answering product-related inquiries.
- Keep the checkout area organized, clean, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (for equipment handling).
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems.
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
