Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently using POS systems and handle cash, credit, and mobile payments
- Provide outstanding customer service, answer product inquiries, and assist with locating items
- Bag groceries and carry items to customer vehicles upon request
- Stock shelves, maintain organized displays, and ensure cleanliness of checkout areas
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to store management
- Adhere to all safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and escalate issues when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong numerical accuracy and basic math skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to operate POS systems and learn new technologies quickly
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
