Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and assist them with finding products.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring the cash drawer balances at the end of every shift.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product locations, prices, and store policies.
- Assist with bagging purchases and maintaining a clean, organized checkout area.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.
