Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and digital payments accurately using POS systems
- Provide outstanding customer service through product knowledge and problem resolution
- Maintain clean, organized checkout areas and restock merchandise as needed
- Operate price scanners and handle merchandise returns/exchanges
- Assist with inventory management and store merchandising tasks
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and loss prevention protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic proficiency with POS technology and digital payment systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Valid New Jersey work authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent required
