Responsibilities
- Process customer payments efficiently using POS systems
- Scan and bag merchandise while maintaining order accuracy
- Assist with returns, exchanges, and price adjustments
- Monitor checkout areas for cleanliness and supply needs
- Provide product information and support to customers
- Balance cash registers and reconcile daily transactions
- Support inventory management tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate POS systems and basic office equipment
