Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments, ensuring all balances are correct.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries and checkout assistance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in retail sales is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
