Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages using premium coffee beans
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and genuine hospitality
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Manage inventory, restock supplies, and ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless operations
- Engage with customers to build relationships and promote seasonal promotions
- Assist in training new baristas on brewing techniques and café protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience required
- Proficiency in espresso extraction techniques and milk steaming
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations
- Must be 18+ and able to stand for extended periods
