Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks following premium recipes
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness of coffee stations, equipment, and seating areas
- Operate POS systems efficiently and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during peak hours
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
- Adhere to strict health and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of barista or customer service experience
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques
- Valid North Carolina food handler certification (or ability to obtain)
