As a Barista, you are more than just a coffee maker; you are an artist and a host. You will craft the perfect cup of coffee, prepare delicious pastries, and ensure every guest feels welcome.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages (espresso, tea, frappes) according to strict company recipes.
- Operate espresso machines, blenders, and coffee brewing equipment efficiently.
- Maintain a pristine coffee bar and dining area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately.
- Upsell products and suggest new beverages to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with food preparation and restocking ingredients throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and making change.
- Reliable availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for coffee culture and food safety compliance.
