Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, adhering to our high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for service.
- Greet customers with a smile, take accurate orders, and provide friendly, efficient service to ensure a memorable experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Assist in stocking inventory, cleaning the espresso machine, and preparing pastries or food items.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and suggest products or drinks that might interest them.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- No prior barista experience is necessary; we are looking for eager learners.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for coffee or a strong interest in learning about coffee culture.
- Reliable transportation to get to work on time.
