Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees, according to standard recipes and quality guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately, processing payments and handling cash transactions with attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee preparation areas, tables, and restrooms, following health and safety regulations.
- Restock supplies (milk, syrups, cups) and perform basic equipment maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training provided for enthusiastic candidates.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Attention to detail when following recipes and ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
