Responsibilities
- Prepare and Serve: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, teas, and smoothies according to our high standards.
- Customer Engagement: Greet every customer with a warm smile, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate espresso machines, blenders, and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine work area, including wiping down counters, cleaning steam wands, and emptying trash regularly to uphold health and safety codes.
- Inventory Management: Monitor supplies and ingredients, restock the coffee bar, and assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with baristas and shift leads to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates with a great attitude.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move quickly during busy rushes.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills required for handling cash, making change, and managing orders.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
