Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, according to strict quality standards.
- Greet customers with a warm, friendly demeanor and provide outstanding service to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including the espresso machine, counters, and dining area.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately, handle cash transactions, and process various payment methods.
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed.
- Train new baristas on our brewing techniques and service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and recipe measurements.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain one.
