Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and teas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment meets health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions with a smile.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions and handle cash responsibly.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies during shifts.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong passion for coffee and the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
