Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service through personalized interactions and product knowledge
- Operate POS systems accurately and efficiently during high-volume periods
- Maintain clean and organized workspace including equipment, counters, and seating areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and inventory management
- Adhere to food safety protocols and health department regulations
- Participate in creating seasonal drink menus and promotional offerings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience required
- Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation
- Proven ability to multitask and remain composed during peak hours
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Food Handler's Certification preferred
- Passion for specialty coffee and continuous learning
