Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve espresso drinks, cold brews, and food items according to our high-quality standards.
- Customer Experience: Greet guests with a warm smile, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize espresso machines, grinders, and workstations daily to ensure food safety compliance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and syrups; restock supplies as needed.
- Point of Sale: Process cash and credit transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Team Collaboration: Assist in training new baristas and support the front-of-house team during busy rushes.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the dining area clean, organized, and inviting for all customers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior barista experience is preferred; however, enthusiastic candidates with strong customer service skills will be considered.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with customers warmly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability for this direct hire role.
- Passion: A genuine love for coffee and a willingness to learn new brewing techniques.
- License: Valid Food Handler's Permit (if required by local regulations).
