Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve premium coffee beverages including espresso, lattes, and specialty drinks
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Maintain pristine cleanliness and organization of the café, equipment, and service areas
- Manage cash transactions and POS systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with team to optimize daily operations and maintain quality standards
- Source and educate customers on seasonal coffee beans and brewing techniques
- Participate in inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with proven espresso proficiency
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport in high-volume settings
- Ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food safety certification (ServSafe preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and passion for continuous learning
