Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages while maintaining quality standards
- Engage customers with warm, personalized service and product knowledge
- Operate POS systems efficiently and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain clean, organized workspace including equipment and service areas
- Collaborate with team during peak hours to ensure seamless operations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Participate in ongoing training for new brewing techniques and menu items
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of barista or customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and product ingredients
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Flexible availability including weekends and early morning shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable transportation to Elmwood Avenue location
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable with virtual interviews and digital onboarding processes
