Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping AI solutions for autonomous robotics and biotech applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, Nature AI)
- Develop ethical governance frameworks for responsible AI deployment in regulated industries
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and corporate partners
- Mentor PhD candidates in emerging AI disciplines through our university partnerships
- Drive open-source initiatives that accelerate industry-wide innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Quantum Computing with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing 15+ papers in top-tier AI/ML venues
- Expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow Quantum, and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants
- Experience with MLOps and deployment of production AI systems at scale
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
