Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Produce annual 'Horizon Reports' predicting market disruptions and societal shifts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Design and implement scenario planning frameworks for existential risks and opportunities
- Mentor a cohort of emerging futurists through our Future Leaders Program
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Oversee the development of proprietary foresight methodologies and tools
- Represent the organization at global forums on future technologies and policy
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic foresight initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, synthetic biology
- Published thought leader with 50+ citations in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology adaptation strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking ability to map complex interdependencies
- Fluency in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and Delphi methodologies
- Portfolio of successful future-shaping initiatives with measurable impact
