Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Author '2026 Horizon Reports' with actionable recommendations for R&D priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Integrate foresight findings into product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Proficient in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks and systems modeling
