Responsibilities

- Lead scenario-planning workshops to anticipate societal and technological shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts and innovation strategists
- Establish KPIs for tracking long-term technological adoption trajectories
- Publish thought leadership in partnership with MIT Media Lab and Stanford HAI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year future-vision frameworks
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully launched future-focused initiatives
