Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze disruptive technologies shaping 2026's landscape (AI, biotech, quantum systems)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product development aligned with future market demands
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Collaborate with C-suite to position company as a 2026 thought leader via whitepapers and keynotes
- Identify and evaluate emerging startups and technologies for acquisition/partnership
- Build scenarios for future regulatory and ethical frameworks in emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, or biotech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech strategy (Harvard/MIT/IEEE preferred)
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products 3+ years ahead of trends
- PhD or Master's in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning tools
