Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026 market landscapes and disruption vectors
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning in high-growth sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future-proof opportunities and mitigate existential risks
- Partner with R&D teams to accelerate prototyping of next-generation solutions with 5+ year horizons
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on future-shaping technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Quantify future market potential through scenario modeling and predictive analytics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 or VC-backed startups
- Proven track record of anticipating disruptive trends (e.g., AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or equivalent certification
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into executable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-focused initiatives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
