Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and prioritize breakthrough technologies with 2026+ impact
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for board-level decision making
- Design and facilitate cross-disciplinary innovation workshops
- Produce scenario analyses for disruptive market transformations
- Partner with R&D teams to commercialize emerging technologies
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across organizational functions
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech strategy
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (provide case studies)
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
