Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their strategic implications for 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and present actionable futurist reports to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future market opportunities
- Identify and evaluate disruptive threats and opportunities across global markets
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for potential futures in technology adoption
- Build and maintain relationships with leading academic institutions, research labs, and think tanks
- Represent the company at global innovation conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal/business implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published author in futurist publications or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Global perspective with understanding of geopolitical and cultural factors influencing tech adoption
