Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational growth
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology foresight to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property portfolio development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record in launching technologies with 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience with global R&D operations and cross-cultural innovation teams
