Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmap for 2026 technology initiatives, aligning with global market trends and emerging scientific breakthroughs
- Direct R&D programs in quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, and decentralized AI systems
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government labs to pioneer open-source frameworks
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-centric AI deployment
- Present technology forecasts and innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and strategic investments for future-forward projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D management
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough products or research initiatives
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech with peer-reviewed publications preferred
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture capital for experimental projects
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and regulatory landscapes for 2030
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable solutions to complex global challenges
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation strategy (e.g., CFTE, CPSM)
