As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you feel confident and ready to succeed from day one.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and assist them with finding products or answering inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments responsibly, ensuring all balances are correct.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking shelves as required.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a high level of customer service.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the sales floor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
