Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and mobile transactions efficiently using POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries promptly
- Stock shelves and maintain organized checkout displays
- Operate scanners, scales, and other payment equipment
- Verify pricing and promotional discounts accurately
- Balance cash drawer and report discrepancies to management
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Basic math skills and cash handling ability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
