Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory safely and efficiently.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and stock organization to maintain optimal warehouse levels.
- Inspect and package outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies during all shifts.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to ensure a smooth handover of tasks and inventory.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners or tablets.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Detroit facility.
