As a Weekend Stock Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have access to the products they need. This is an excellent entry-level position for those looking to gain retail experience while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, organize, and stock merchandise on the sales floor and in the backroom efficiently.
- Merchandising: Ensure products are displayed attractively and adhere to company visual standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect stock for damage and remove any defective items from the sales floor.
- Store Maintenance: Keep shelves, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Customer Support: Assist customers in locating items and answer basic inquiries regarding store policies.
- Stock Transfers: Move stock between various departments and locations within the store as needed.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and have flexibility for occasional holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no prior experience necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies in inventory counts.
