Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly upon entry, offer assistance, and provide product recommendations to ensure a top-notch shopping experience.
- Sales Transactions: Process sales accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system, ensuring all transactions comply with company policies.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing by restocking merchandise and folding clothing to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and price changes as needed during the quieter weekend shifts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to ensure store operations run smoothly and assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday (or specific weekend shifts) with the ability to work occasional evenings.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we value attitude and enthusiasm over tenure.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk the sales floor, and lift up to 25 lbs to assist with stock.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate pricing and visual presentation of merchandise.
- Technology: Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new point-of-sale systems quickly.
