Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide knowledgeable information about merchandise and promotions.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean and inviting sales floor environment.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries with a focus on problem resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any stock discrepancies or damages immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often 4-6 hours at a time.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
