Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operational Support: Assist in maintaining store organization, restocking inventory, and ensuring displays are clean and appealing.
- Point of Sale (POS) Management: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handle cash, and manage returns or exchanges.
- Store Maintenance: Help with opening and closing procedures, including security checks and trash removal.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and workflow.
- Adherence to Standards: Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures strictly.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) for the duration of the engagement.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and handling cash transactions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to medium boxes or merchandise (up to 25 lbs).
- Flexibility: Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
