Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional assistance to customers, answering inquiries and resolving complaints efficiently to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Assist with restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean and tidy environment throughout the weekend.
- Cash Handling: Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, process payments, and handle cash deposits with strict attention to detail.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct stock counts, and report shortages or discrepancies to the management team.
- Opening/Closing Duties: Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including setting up equipment, securing the premises, and turning on/off alarm systems.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to achieve daily targets and maintain a high standard of service.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) on a consistent basis.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and dependability is essential for this immediate hire position.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of customers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and move around the sales floor as required.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities or tasks.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or hospitality is preferred but not strictly required; on-the-job training will be provided.
