Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions and handle returns efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Monitor product freshness and quality, alerting management to any discrepancies or needs.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work a minimum of 15-25 hours per week, primarily on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are recommended.
