Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare merchandise for shipment according to customer orders using warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as required by the shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and ensure packaging meets company standards to minimize returns.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and peers to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends and night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and operating barcode scanners.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to focus and work independently in a quiet night environment.
