Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend events at downtown Indianapolis venues including Monument Circle, Mass Ave, and White River State Park
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure seamless setup/teardown operations
- Oversee attendee registration and guest experience at 3-5 events per weekend
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote events via social media channels
- Conduct post-event analysis and submit detailed performance reports
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in event coordination or hospitality
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and calm demeanor under pressure
- Availability to work Saturday/Sunday shifts (8am-8pm) with occasional Fridays
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse public populations
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Indiana resident with local venue knowledge preferred
