Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or answering inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, safe, and visually appealing at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in organizing stockroom merchandise.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints with patience and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards during peak evening hours.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security checks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Mandatory Availability: Must be able to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and evening shifts (shifts typically start between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM).
- Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid ID.
