Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor upon entry and throughout their shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register using point-of-sale systems.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including shelving and stock rotation.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide solutions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment during slower periods.
- Operate store equipment, including payment terminals and safety systems, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends (flexible scheduling available).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation is required.
